France launches world TV channel

From that article, it is shown that developing countries become more aware about the necessity of media dominance. Nowadays, it is not a matter of reporting news but how reporting news. Indeed, as it is said in the article, "Our mission is to cover worldwide news with French eyes".
France 24 is a french news channel supported by Jacques Chirac. It aims to be among the most global news channel since it is broadcasting in four main "global" languages which are french, english, arabic, and spanish. Besides, the channel claims itself independent from any external dominace such the governmental one. This freedom shows that there is a democracy and that journlaists can produce more without being afraid.
